We’ve been on the road for more than two years now!

Because of that, we decided to release this short video showing some of the highlights of the last 24+ months. :)

All this time has been one great adventure – we’ve biked on the crazy streets of Vietnam, bathed in hidden waterfalls, dived with manta rays in Thailand, hiked through the Laotian jungle, kayaked in the dark caves of Halong Bay and zip-lined in the treetops of Switzerland… we’ve also had a countless amount of food poisonings, survived a bed bug infestation and got bitten by an insane amount of tropical mosquitoes (and one dog). It’s been fun – and we’re not done yet!

We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to all the people that we’ve met during our travels – for showing us places that we’d have never discovered on our own and for making this time even more amazing!

See you on the road!

  1. Awesome stuff you two! My girlfriend and I met in a hostel as well (in Spain) and we’ve plodded through some similar travels :) We did SE Asia, Europe and lived in China for a couple years.

Anyway, I loved the video … it makes me want to hit the road again!

    Happy Travels!
    Dan

    1. Thank you! :)

Wow, that sounds great! So… according to that, we should probably start packing our backpacks for China now. ;D
It’s always great to hear about other travelers with similar stories – I hope you’ll hit the road again soon!

      All the best! :)

    1. Thanks, Crystal! :)) We’ve considered it, but in the end the idea somehow slipped away… we’ll definitely come back to this if we make a second video though! Thanks for the feedback! :)

  2. You did a fabulous job! Bed bugs and mosquitos…I would have retreated. Those things scare me to death. We have some bugs in Panama that leave whelps on you for over a month but they do not itch.

    1. Thanks! :)) Yup, these were pretty tough moments..! But worse things could have happened, it really wasn’t that difficult to deal with in the end. We were also pretty lucky with the bed bugs, as we managed to get rid of them immediately. :)
Over a month? Whoa, I think even the bed bug ones went away after 2 weeks or so..!

  3. Awesome video. I love the part where your in the waterfall. And everytime you’re in the city on a motorbike I get so nervous. I love motorbikes but driving them in Asian cities is NUTS

    1. Thanks! Actually, we felt pretty much the same while driving there… but after some time got used to it. Still, definitely wouldn’t advise anyone on driving there without helmets & a healthy dose of caution!
